The appeal of board service can provide a rewarding career experience. However, board searches today are highly specific and getting on your first board may take planning, patience, and perseverance. It’s critical that you prepare for the interviews so that the board can see the value you can bring.

In this second in our Board Preparedness series, you will have an opportunity to hear from experienced board members Fran Phillips and Ellen Richstone about how they approach finding and securing board positions. Join the discussion to learn about the dos and don’ts of board interviews.

You do not need to have attended the first session to attend this one. If you missed our first session, Defining Your Value on a Board, you can find it in The Boston Club video archives.
