Have you often looked at the accomplishments of other busy women and wondered how they managed to do that thing you have always wanted to do?  This series is your chance to learn about how other women achieved unique and creative goals that you may have in the back of your mind, but have never figured out how to execute.  Our one-hour discussions will include an interview with a fabulous Club member who has done something interesting and challenging, followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

Have you always had a niggling desire to become an author, but have had no idea how to do it?  Learn how fellow Club member Roberta Matuson discovered her inner author and successfully published SIX books. You’ll come away with practical information about what it’s really like to be a published author, what it takes to get there, and inspiration to put words to paper!

For more than 25 years, Roberta Matuson has been helping organizations find, hire, grow, and keep top talent, saving them millions of dollars that would otherwise be lost in the recruiting process, and achieve dramatic growth because they have the best people. As a former executive, Roberta has the vantage point of understanding what it’s like to work at all levels of an organization. At the age of 24, she found herself in the executive suite, where she was responsible for building a world-class HR department for a commercial real estate firm. Shortly, thereafter, Roberta was involved in taking the company through a public offering. She understands the frustrations of employer turnover that many employees and leaders experience, and has coached and consulted with many Fortune 500 and mid-size companies to help them become a place where employees want to stay.

Series Moderator:

Amy Cashore Mariani
has been assisting individuals and companies in resolving conflict for over twenty years, first during her career as a trial attorney, and then as a trained mediator, arbitrator, conciliator, facilitator, and adjunct law school faculty member.  Through dialogue and separate reflection, she assists parties in prioritizing interests and assessing potential resolutions.  She tailors her approach to each case based on the parties’ unique needs and circumstances.
