Thinking about if you retire – what is next? - Thinking about cutting back your work hours and easing into a hybrid work/life mode? - Thinking about exploring new adventures or hobbies? - Thinking about how to age-in-place in Boston? - Thinking about how to build on your lifestyle with the joy of new experiences? We are a group that plans to kick off in June (2019) and meet eight times a year to discuss these topics and more over a pot luck dinner (weekdays). Occasionally, we may invite speakers to share ideas or plan excursions that may interest the group. The group leader is Jeanne LaFrance and the group will be private and capped at 20 people. If you are interested in attending the first meeting, please click the 'Join' button or reach out to Jeanne directly.

Technology Embedded in our Lives

Technology Embedded in our Lives

Technology plays a central role in most of our lives; each day there are new innovations that embed even more applications in our work and home worlds. This group is for anyone wanting to explore the many intersections of technology in our lives, as users and/or creators of technology: work and personal life integration, generational mindsets and uses, from old school to the latest innovation, in person and digital interactions, and anything else that impacts our own device choice and use. You don’t have to be a software, hardware, or other IT person to join. We are looking for a diverse group of women to have conversations, create connections, and share ideas and stories about the impact of technology on our lives now, and in the future.
